VALLI VIKRAM

Valli Vikram is a recent London School of Economics graduate from South India. She writes for The Ken, an Indian business and technology journal. Raised in a Bollywood producing family, she’s been immersed in high-stakes storytelling from a young age.

Valli begins her books with a secret or mystery—but at their heart, they’re about something deeper: who holds power, who gets left behind, and what it means to belong in an unfair system. She writes stories set in South India, inspired by the world she grew up in. Too often, South Asian characters are flat or tokenized, and she wants readers to see India as it really is: rich in history and emotion, complex, and full of ambitious young people worth rooting for.
